Full-Service Checklist

This section contains the checklist of what is included in the full service with GMP Autocare.

• Check vehicle body condition
• Check mirrors
• Check number plates
• Check operation of exterior lights
• Check windscreen condition
• Check windscreen washer operation and top up
• Drain engine oil and refill
• Replace oil filter
• Inspect exhaust system for leaks, security and noise
• Check brake pipes and lines visually
• Check brake fluid water content
• Remove all wheels
• Check front brake pads visually
• Check rear brake pads/shoes visually
• Check tyre condition for wear and depths including spear
• Check and adjust tyre pressures
• Check antifreeze strength
• Check radiator and pipes for leaks
• Check condition and tension of fan/alternator belt
• Check condition and tension of auxilary drive belts
• Check for correct clutch operation
• Check battery condition
• Check Horn
• Road Test Vehicle – Brakes
• Road Test Vehicle – Steering
• Road Test Vehicle – Suspension
• Road Test Vehicle – Engine and gearbox
• Visual Health Check Report
• Check handbrake for operation and travel
• Check cambelt condition visually
• Fit new air filter
• Check power steering fluid level and top up if necessary
• Check steering/suspension components for wear and corrosion
• Check for play/noise in wheel bearings
• Replace air filter
• Check propshaft/driveshaft and joints
• Lubricate catches and hinges
• Check seatbelts
• Check ABS warning light for correct operation
• Check emissions
• Visual inspection of HT leads
• Replace fuel filter (petrol and diesel)
• Check condition of fuel lines
• Check power steering fluid level and top up if necessary
• Check and top up gearbox oil
• Check and top up axle oil where applicable
• Check and top up automatic gearbox oil where applicable
• Check for general leaks in the engine bay
